Machine Learning and Visualization for the Information Professional

As well as being a member of ISKO UK, Tara McDarby is a masters student at the University of Borås, Sweden, where she studies at the school of Library & Information Science. In this talk, she will be looking at machine learning techniques for the library sector and how we can borrow visualization methods from the sciences to represent our findings. Part of the event will also involve a group discussion on how to use these techniques with large collections.

This workshop will take place at the Canada Water Culture Space, just next to the Canada Water tube station on the Jubilee line. The event is free to ISKO UK members and the fee is £5 for non-members (option to pay at the door).
